Our holdings include an extensive genealogical database, family books, local & New Brunswick history, military collection, personal papers, photographs, shipbuilding documentation, St. Martins & Kings County cemetery records, obituaries, video interview collection of senior’s memories and stories of St. Martins.
Queries on Family History are answered promptly. A quick initial review will be made to determine if we have information on your family or subject of St. Martins County and the surrounding area. This information will be forwarded to you or you will be advised if more in-depth research is required and if a fee is required for services provided.
In addition, personal research can be conducted
by individuals on-site.
We provide Consultations, Genealogist Research, and Create Family Genealogy Books as well as historical inquiries.

Conduct Personal Research with our collection of books, family histories and use of online genealogy websites, computer access is available.
Questions and help locating records will be given.
Members: service is free
Non-members:
$5 Search for one individual (30 min.)
$10 half the day;
$20 full day
(by appointment for times
other than 1-4 pm).
$15 per hour in person with a genealogist who shows the client what is available in the Quaco Family database and collection:
conducts a genealogy tutorial, and discusses where to look for records.
Shows what and where to look on Provincial Archives showing records available: (births, marriages & deaths), church records, directories, probate records, land petitions, land grants, and land grant maps.
The use of obituaries to find additional information on family. Discusses family tree programs that the client can use to enter their family records.
Book prices are in addition to the above fee if requested.
$20 per hour for labor intensive research to a maximum of $260/13 hours research. Genealogist creates family tree or search for lost ancestor. How in depth or broad the search is determined by the client, and will be kept advised of progress of the genealogy search. Family tree would be emailed or mailed at the book price below.
Family Books from the database for Members and Non-members.
$15 under 100 pages.
$25 under 200 pages.
$35 under 300 pages.
Larger-sized books will be priced on an individual basis.
These will be emailed to the researcher.
Printed copies of a book will be charged the above book fee, copying fees & postage fees if mailed.
Document pages may be copied for the following fees.
Members – Free up to 10 pages, above 10 pages $0.20 per page.
Non-members – $0.20 per page.
